MeGUI/Status Window
From MeWiki
This is the most simple window of MeGUI, and is fairly self-explanatory.
OK . lets start row-wise :
1. Position Clip/Total length : This tells you the current position in the clip upto which the encoder has encoded out of the total length of the clip being encoded .
In the above pic the encoder has encoded till 1 hr 13 mins and 8 s while the total length of the clip is 3 hr 5 min 10 s .
2. Current/Total Frames : This tells the no. of frames till which the encoder has encoded and total no. of frames of the clip .
In the above pic the encoder has encoded till frame 131534 while the total no. of frames are 332996 .
3. Current/Projected Filesize : This tells you the current size of the file that has been encoded till now , and the file size that the whole clip is likely to have after encoding is complete .
In the above pic , current filesize is 324.7 MB while the projected file size is 819.9 MB .
4. Processing Rate : This tells you the no. of frames that r being encoded in 1 second .
In the above pic , 7.01 Frames are being encoded per second .
5. Time elapsed : This tells you the time it has taken from the start of the encoding till now .
In the above pic it has been 5 hrs 13 mins and 4 sec since the encoding was started .
6. Remaining Time : This tells you the time left for the encoding to complete .
In the above pic time left is 7 hr 57 min 30 s .
7. Progress : This bar shows the approximate progress .
8. Priority : This tells the priority of the encoding process in your PC . With LOW priority other processes on pc get priority above encoding process , so the PC in general does not slow down .
With NORMAL and HIGH priority , a higher priority is given to the encoding process above other applications and so the PC appears to run slow for other applications .
9. Abort : Clicking this button cancels the encoding process .
10. Help Clicking this button will bring you to this page .
